Not sure if I will explain this right but..on cake covered with buttercreme, can I dust with the super pearl dust and then apply a RI stencil design over the dust? I wasn't sure if the RI would "stick" over the dust. I'm trying to give the cake a pearlized look using BC instead of fondant so if there's a better way..please do tell! TIA!

I'm not sure either. Why not give it a run-through on a small piece and post your findings? Also what you can try: use a water pen or a paintbrush with sugar glue and pre-paint your RI pattern. This way you eliminate the dust factor. Then go over with the RI.
