Hi guys

I would like to make something similar to this cake for my daughter's birthday.

http://www.tonyastaab.com/2010/05/daisies-daisies-daisies-.html

It says she has made the Daisies following a Wilton course, but the link is broken. I can't find this daisy on the Wilton page. Does anyone know which mold or cut-out she has used?

Also, would you only cover the bottom of the cake in the yellow fondant? I was thinking a white mud with white ganache.

Thanks for your help

I think this is the tutorial for the fondant/gum paste daisy that you're looking for:

Hope that helps!

And as far as the yellow is concerned, I guess it would depend on the look you want.  The yellow she used compliments the inside of the daisies, but it is quite...uh...yellow.  icon_smile.gif

You could do something different to make it your own...either keep it white, or use a pattern.  Whatever works for you!
