Silhouette Cameo. Google Linda McClure. She invented cutting gum paste on a machine, and has a special blade.

The Cameo does it all, no limiting cartridges that cost a fortune, and you can cut whatever you want. There is a print and cut feature too, if you have an edible image printer.

Linda mcClure sells it on her website, but we aren't allowed to post the name of it, since the cruddy cricut people advertise on here. As far as I know, that is the only place you can get it. If you want to just cut the frosting sheets, the premium sheets from Icing Images are the best for this, you will not need a special blade. the premium sheets are thick and don't melt when you touch them, and they come in colors!

Linda McClure is the only one who sells the Cameo that can cut gum paste. Her blade is the one to use for gum paste. You can use the regular Cameo blade to cut paper or even icing sheets, but not gum paste.

I use my Silhouette for most of my decorating. I can even use the print and cut feature to print on gum paste and the machine will cut the outline. This is explained in the book that comes with the machine.

I read in the cricut web site that the cricut cake is no longer made and is discountinued.
