Hi there I am making  a cake for a friends baby shower. I am doing 24 cupcakes to accompany the cake. She needs about 80 servings in total. I keep looking at Wilton's guide and the numbers seem so unrealistic to me for some reason. I could really use some help ASAP. The cake is 2 tier and each teir has 3 layers, Thanks so much!!

what are you considering that seems unrealistic to  you?

what sizes are you considering?

your 2-tier needs to serve about 56

a 10x7 works

Ok..a 10 inch 3 layer (assuming each layer is 2 inches thick) round will feed 45 people, and a 3 layer 6 inch will feed 12. That puts it at feeding  57 people plus your 24 cupcakes...You'll have enough to serve 81 people!

This should help you in the future :) http://www.earlenescakes.com/ckserchart.htm These servings are more generous than Wiltons chart
