Xbox 360 Cake Help

AHi i have been asked to make a standing xbox 360 cake but worried about it falling over size in inches height 12.15 length 10.15 width 3.27 any ideas what I can use so this doesn't happen

what do you mean standing?? will it be on something?

just use plenty of support and dowel through the whole thing maybe 2 dowels ...probably ganache it for extra support! I've only made one laying down! Good luck!!!

AIt will be on a cake board was planing on stacking the sponge and using dowels hopefully it won't fall

Oh ok, I feel like such a idiot lol I'm so use to seeing xbox cakes laying down, but I now know what you mean

 

Yes, I think great support would be key here, along with ganache to hold everything in place. And putting the fondant on in sections sounds like a good idea.

AHad to put thin board between layers to make it stand then had to do fondant in strips not in a hurry to try again
