I'm making a victoria secret shopping bag for my DD birthday, my concern is that the fondant will sag when I put the panels on the cake. I have read that I should add Tylose or gum paste to the fondant.   But I don't want to make it that hard ........what can I do to prevent it from hardenig and falling of the cake?

thx

I would suggest making the panels the day before (roll out panels that are an inch longer and wider than you need) and then let then set over night. They should still be a little soft the next day and they'll hold their shape without sagging. I've done this with MMF and it works well. I don't mind the hardness though since most people don't eat the fondant anyway. I hope that helps!

Use chocolate clay in stead.
