I like that the Wilton buttercream does not need to be refrigerated, but I find it heavy and overly sweet. I love the taste and texture of cooked flour frosting, but only use this when it is possible to keep the cake refrigerated.  Any suggestions for a frosting similar to the cooked flour frosting, which would not have to be refrigerated?
