I'm just starting do cakes. I'm making a carrot cake and decorating it for valentine's day and I'm not sure how much to charge I'm making royal icing roses  to put on the cake also.  If you could gave me any ideals that would be great.

Thanks

Hello there, if you are charging for your cake, there are a few home works you need to do. The biggest one is  what is State Home Cottage Law says? Then you need to factor in, time spent in making this cake, how much did you spend for ingredients, and for many servings? And don't forget to add the decorations. The more complex the decor the more you charge, say, from $1 to $2.50 per slice. Good luck. Please post your finished product.cowboy.gif
