Hi fellow cc'ers I'm looking for some help with gift suggestions for my BF for valentines day.

This will be our first one and he spends a lot of time in the USA for work he is a Dr who specialises in pre-hospital care (a trauma surgeon) and the best part of all is he's an astronaut candidate for NASA.

He is always sending me flowers with chocs and a little bear and he recently brought me a little ted in a acer suit from NASA with a pin on it which relates to the mission he was involved in (trained all the astronauts and was involved in launch and landing) his gifts are always so thoughtful and have great meaning to him which in turn makes them extra special to me. He loves the fact that I have a little bit of him with me when he's gone.

I would like to get him something that he could keep with him when he's gone which would remind him of me but I can't see him packing a ted and taking it with him!!! I have trawled the Internet to no avail and I'm running out of time.

Any ideas or suggestions would be most apappreciated

many thanks

One traditional gift is a St. Christopher medal.

For a patron saint of MD there is St. Luke.

And for astronauts, I can't think of a better one than St. Brendan right?

These are small and unobtrusive and also come as pins.
