In earlier discussions fellow Aussies were bemoaning the absence of Crisco vegetable shortening in Sydney. I've just come home from Iced Affair at Camperdown with my first ever tin of Crisco!!!!

AI went to iced affair yesterday to buy some fondant and yes I saw it there! Lol

David Jones food hall in the city sells it .. on-line also ...

I also got some from Cake Decorating Solutions in Roseberry and in Blacktown.

Oh wow!!! So Crisco really has made it to our shores. Now I need to try it out and see if it is as magical as it sounds.

I didn't mention that Iced Affair also sell online.

When I was living in Perth (1998-2002), I could buy tiny containers of Crisco at Cole's. It was outrageously expensive, but they had it in an aisle with other "American" food products.
