AI am making my friends wedding cake/cupcakes in august. I am how ever using fondant (which I have never used before). I do plan on doing a trial cake. I have made tiered cakes before but only out of buttercream. How far in advance can you make and freeze the cupcakes and cake? Also should I frost them frozen or thawed? How far in advanve can I make the fondant? Can you freeze it? I am the maid of honor and I have two kids as well so I am going to be busy. Last time I made a wedding cake I didn't have kids so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
