Please help .... I have been making fondant cakes and need help with cake filing options for fondant covered cakes. I have only the basic Bavarian cream, fresh strawberries and whipped cream andÂ the basic butter cream.Â What are some great recipes for cake filing? Is there some that i should absolutely not use on fondant covered cakes? Is there any that taste great? I need options i have been getting cake orders from family and friends and would like to add some good recipes. Thank you.
I do not refrigerate my fondant cakes so I stick with dairy free filling options. Mostly flavored buttercreams or Â buttercream with mix ins such as crushed Oreo's or Â coconut. I also use a whipped chocolate ganache infused with Chambord raspberry liquor for a richer filling.Â
