AHi! I'm new here and relatively new to the fondant world. Could somine suggest a tool I should use to cut wavy snow caps into fondant like the picture in the link attached? Whenever i hand cut (pairing knife) traced letters into fondant my rounded edges tend to be very jaggedy. Looking for some help with a cake im making this weekend. I think the ones in the pictures are piped--but a bunch of pictures come up--maybe narrow it down to one picture.
To get a smoothy edge on fondant cutouts smooth it with your finger or a ball tool.
Another idea is to lay the letter upside down onto the fondant, cut it out, then flip it over and smoothy that underneath edge. The underneath edge is sharper than the top edge where you applied all the pressure to get it cut through. The bottom edge stayed true to the table top.
