I have seen some posts on the forums about Shirley W's Faux Bavarian Creme Recipe and one stated she is no longer on CC.

Does anyone have the recipe? I am looking for a non-refrigerated mousse that can be used as a cake filling.

Non-refrigerated mousse: 1 package instant pudding mix (4 serving size) and 1 cup water.

Sorry ALL filling/pudding/mousse recipes containing milk, cream, sour cream, cream cheese, creamer REQUIRE refrigeration, they are NOT room temperature stable after the chilled cake reaches room temperature.

The commercial sleeves contain water, sugar, modified starch, titanium dioxide (whitener), vegetable fat, and potassium sorbate (preservative).  They are room temperature stable because they are chemistry sets NOT real food.
