Martha Stewart has a good one which I always use..just google "martha stewart italian meringue buttercream". I think all of them are about the same, really, more or less.

Ps - I do add in a little less butter than the recipe instructs, but that is just a personal taste thing.

AWhat is imbc's consistency like? I am looking for a lighter icing than my crusting decorator icing.

I use Warren Brown's IMBC recipe which you can find on YouTube.  My only adjustments are to add 1/2 cup of extra sugar plus a ton of flavoring.

I wouldn't say IMBC is light by any means.  To me, it is one of the richest icings.  It is less sweet for sure, but it's very rich from all the butter and it requires quite a bit of flavoring.

I also use Warren Browns.  Turns out great every time!
