I have a request for a bird cake and I really love the cake below.  Any idea how the wings were done?  The website mentioned wallpaper texture....whatever that means icon_smile.gif.  Thanks in advance!!

I've never heard of wallpaper textures, besides when designing your own home lol...but, maybe they're talking about sugar sheet? I know they come in  bunch of different designs...hope this helps

Funny, I was thinking the same thing today!  I cant think of what else it could be.

My guess on the birds are they are cut out of gumpaste or thin fondant, then sugar sheet wings are used on more thin fondnat.
