here is pic of ombre cake i did for a sweet 16.. mother called day before and wanted all colors changed, even thou the cake was finished... first she had it dark colors then wanted it changed to lighter pale colors...

You are a saint for changing it last minute. I hope you charged her a change fee. That had to cost you a lot in fondant. Both cakes are stunning.
