Wish someone would start supplying these over here. Does anyone know if we have a supplier yet?

For the meantime I have just purchased one of these

but still seems to do a great job. Anyone know what make this is?

I have an Agbay and cannot imagine my (cake) life without it!!

There isn't a UK supplier, but if you contact them (I think it's Maureen?) they do ship here.

I've had mine for years and years - before the double bladed one was around. They are so quick and easy to use, that even if I needed to replace mine in the future, I wouldn't bother with the double bladed one.

As far as I know the only place to get an Agbay is from Agbay Products. I'm sure they will ship to you!

I got mine shipped to the UK too, it's quite expensive and you should also budget about £50 for customs charges... I'm not sure what the actual cost of one is, but to work out customs charges it's 15% + £8 Royal Mail handling charge (that's what it was for my nail supplies anyway!)

Anyway, they are brilliant! I couldn't cope without mine! icon_smile.gif

The one in the utube video is made by wilton and it is horrible. You will never a get a perfectly level cake with it as the blade is to flexible. I threw mine in the trash.

AJust an update. ... got agbay. I am thinking of having a pedestal made for it to sit on, in its honour. It is so, so fabulous.

Hi @littlebroccoli... I'm just looking into an Agbay leveller and came across your thread.

Are you still loving it? I've just had a battle with a sponge cake and my pme "leveller" (resorted to a knife) so I'm very jealous!!

I just wanted to ask whether you went for the single or double blade? Also - would you mind sharing how much it cost in the end with customs charges etc? And roughly how long was it from ordering until you received it?

Sorry to bombard you with questions and thanks so much in advance!

Becky

Hi we stock the Agbay Junior Cake Leveller, we're in the UK

The quality is superb, and the strength of the blade is fabulous compared to the alternatives on the market.
