If using all butter cream on cake do I let the butter cream crust first before using the Wilton cake press design and when I pipe the design on with more butter cream will the butter cream stick to the crusted butter cream? Just trying to learn to do it right since I am not too experienced at this like some of you who have been making cakes for years. Thanks for your advice. It is greatly appreciated./Mary
I did a test and let buttercream crust and the heart press worked beautifully. With all the people here who know a lot more I was hoping someone would have just told me that> I am no cake decorator so I am trying to learn more from those who know these answers before making mistakes.
