Hey everyone, so this local bakery makes pastries called maple rounds and it is filled with a frosting that is so good! It definitely seems to have powdered sugar in it, and kind of crusts, but it is definitely not buttercream! any thoughts to what frosting this could be or any recipe deals?

Ask the bakery.

Start by asking if it's natural maple...butter or shortening...milk or not...

If they look at you funny, say your kids/friends/guests/housemates have allergies.

It's notbthebmaple frosting that I'm wondering about, it's the white cream frosting I'm wondering about its sort of vanilla flavored in guess and it doesn't need to be refrigerated!

Ask questions. Best way to find out what that stuff is. Let them tell you which is the maple...
