I am going to attempt to make my sons first birthday cake, which is themed Sesame St. I have some questions though, how do I make a two tiered cake? How do I make the fondant faces? Templates? By hand? Can I just frost the cake then stick the fondant faces on the sides? Is it better to use gumpaste? I am a newbie and any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!! icon_smile.gif

You cold definitely print out copies of the faces and cut in pieces and then cut fondant with an exacto knife then reconstruct....That's what I do when I want to do a logo in fondant....you can look up cake stacking on internet for tutorial, it's relatively common... Good luck
