Thanks
Sarah
There is a recipe posted on here that is titled Durable Cake for 3D and Wedding Cakes. Just tonight I made this cake to test on my family because I also needed a simple but delicious sponge style cake. I change the pudding to a different flavor. The author of the recipe is heartsfire. The cake is great, taste and texture. It is going to be great for the wedding cake that I need this weekend.
joyofbaking.com there is a video and she explain everything, I haven't try it yet! if you do try it let me know how is it! good luck
Most of us do our own arithmetic to get the area of a 9" round and the area of an 11" or 12" square.
9" round is 3.14 x 4.5 x 4.5.
What's the area of a 12" square? 11" square?
Divide your second number by the area of the 9" round.
Then use that number to multiply all the ingredients in your 9" round sponge recipe.
