Does anyone know of a great, traditional wedding cake flavoring recipe? I"m not sure exactly what it is supposed to be flavored of? Butter, van? If anyone has a great recipe or know of one, can you please tell me? I'm not sure ! Thanks

Just take your favorite white recipe and add some almond extract. I always add extra vanilla to my recipes.

I love vanilla so I just add extra to everything. That is a personal preference. You can definitely add almond-it's a strong extract so you don't need much. Too much almond is nasty. I definitely wouldn't add anymore than a teaspoon to a batch. It's one of those things that is beautiful when done correctly, but it can quickly go downhill if you add too much.

I think the OP is in the US. Traditional can mean different things depending on geography.
