I've had a request for a buttercream frosted cake with an afghan texture added in somewhere. What my plan is, is to take some fondant and texture it like an afghan, and drape it over a portion of the cake, but I don't know how to achieve that texture. Any ideas? I need to have the cake ready for October 5th.....

If u google images for afghan they show a variety of designs u can pick from: easy to difficult. They show a couple that don t seem hard at all to achieve.
