hi,
I've been asked to make a tiered wedding cake with fresh roses in between the tiers

I know I have to use polystyrene dummies/formers but can anyone tell me how long will the roses stay fresh for after I have wired them into the polystyrene?

Appreciate any help.

You need to add the flowers on the day of the event. Wire is NOT necessary--the stems can be cut at an angle and that will stick into the foam just fine.

Ask the florist for short stem roses, they are cheaper. You can cut the stems ahead of time and put the roses into bags in the fridge with some water misted in.
