Which is better to use to paint on fondant, petal dust or lustre dust?

It depends on the look you wish to achieve. Petal dust is flat, lustre dust has a pearly sheen to it. For simple application of color, most people use petal dust and a dry brush. I have a friend who is so skilled at it that you'd swear it was airbrush.
