I would be very leary of this one. Unless you can see the people in person and get a cash payment up front, I would not risk it.

yeah, that's a scam, I get that one all the time. That reminds me, I have one to respond to...some guy wants to bring 15 adults to "my place" for dinner. I guess he wants to come to my house? haha! http://www.acaketorememberva.blogspot.com/p/fun-with-email-scammers.html

I actually just had tears rolling down my face I was laughing so hard. My husband had to know what was so funny, and he's now hysterical too. Thank you for that link - I needed a good laugh tonight!

p.s. Where to buy your waterproof towel and do you take the visa?

Definite scam. Get this one all the time. I write back and tell them they can pick their order up at the Police Station. Never hear from the same one again.

I liked "i am ordering from Brunei Darussalam" considering one is in Southeast Asia and the other [Dar es Salaam] is in Africa. I want to know how to be on two continents at the same time.

Love it! Glad you told "Woody Allen" off--about time someone took him to task!

I've sold out of the waterproof towels, they're a very popular item. Would you be interested in a leakless sieve?

Your letters and responses are GOLD! Totally made me LOL many times.

Thank you for sharing that and for calling out Wood Allen!!

They remind of that book years ago "letters from a nut"...funny stuff.

It's quite interesting how far they'll go without actually reading what  you wrote.
