ok..... I am not positive so I need help from the ladies (and gentlemen) out here in CC! I really dont want to spend alot of money on a "special" cake mix which of course is pillsbury's funfetti so I was wondering I have a white mix already can't I just add sprinkles to it to make it a funfetti????
This is for a baby shower cake due on the 25th of this month. Thank you in advance for your help icon_wink.gif

I made a funfetti cake by adding 11/2 cups of Fruity pebbles! It worked great, the cereal stayed a little crunchy and the flakes were so light they were baked evenly throughout the cake.

One thing you might want to consider is to toss the sprinkles with a little of the dry cake mix before folding them into the batter - I know you should do this with nuts and chocolate chips in brownies and it keeps them from sinking to the bottom of the pan.

Just thought I'd put my two cents worth in. icon_rolleyes.gif
