Hi all, i have been asked on short notice (next tues) to make a mulberry hand bag cake with a Chihuahua poking out of it, i've never made a hand bag before and need any tips and ideas for how to make realistic buckles and straps - had i had more time i would have ordered a molding kit....any other ways around this?!! Thankyou

I d keep it simple. Never made one myself but I d make a fondant or gumpaste buckle by googling a few pics of buckles and use one as inspiration. I always use a pic and put it in front of me as I sculp anything. I also google a lot for pics of what I need or tutorials. I d google gumpaste or fondant tutorials and look at what they have on google web mode and google picture mode.
