I was wondering if anyone has used raspberry pie filling for cake filling. If so, did it taste good? And did it seep into the cake?
I have not use pie filling, but I have used jam. I spread a thin layer of BC first then pipe a 'dam' with BC around the edge and fill in with the jam. Before I do my final icing I let the cake sit and make sure it's all settled so none of the jam oozes out.
