Hi
Im not sure if i've missed a previous post on this (apologies if so, first time on here icon_smile.gif )

Im making a castle cake next week and wanting to do the towers out of two flat end ice cream cones stuck together. I've found loads of advice on sticking them together with royal icing etc (any other ideas?) but how do i actually attach them to the cake and board so they stay secure with them being tall??

Any Help would be very very much appreciated!

thanks!

you could stick a bambo skewer into the board then bulid a small mound of rice crispies around that skewer to fit in the hole of the cones then put a little royal icing to make nice and secure;0

You can use melted chocolate instead of royal icing or isomalt. Rice krispies is a good idea to keep it stable at the bottom.
