I would like to know how do I reuse dry fondant. It has been packed in its original package, but it's very had. I have a cake for this weekend and I would like to use it if possible.
It depends on how stale it is, if you can cut off the outside edges with a big sharp knife to reveal a nice soft inside you could use that and discard the outter. if its a bit harder you could try microwaving it for 5 second bursts and kneeding a tiny tiny tiny bit of crisco in but it will firm up quickly again as it cools and will be tough to shape.
