I'm making a ladybug with the Wilton small ball pan for my daughter's 1st birthday smash cake. I just DREAD trying to get the right red color for the BC! I'm pretty sure all we have available is the Wilton gel colors at Michael's around here, and I don't have much faith in them, ha! How do you think it would work to frost it in white BC and then spray it red? I'm just talking about those little cans you can buy anywhere that you can do 24 cupcakes with or something like that...the only thing I've ever used them for is cupcakes, so it didn't have to be such "perfect" color...

Yes/No? any tips I need to know? OR, any way to get the red Wilton gel colors to come out nicely? I doubt she'll eat much of it, if that matters...Thanks everyone!
