Did you ever find any instructions?  I posted the same question, but I have yet to receive a reply.  I tried it, but was slightly dissapointed with the results.

Just cut a circle of fondant about 4" larger than the top of the cake you're covering, then use a pizza cutter to go around it in a wavy design. Press the edges down with your hand or a fondant smoother so that it softens the edge that got cut off, then put it on the cake.

And for the roll around the middle, roll out a snake of fondant and press it on the counter while you roll it back and forth, pressing it with your finger to thin it out in sections. Attach it to the middle of the cake.

Thanks!  I just seem to have a problem cutting the wave to look natural.  I guess practice is key.
