A friend of mine asked me to make some cookies for her that she needs in advance, is it possible to freeze decorated (with MMF) cookies? Do they defrost the same way as a frozen decorated cake would?

I dont see why not, but I dont use MMF so I'm not 100% sure. If you used candy clay instead that would work fine. http://acaketorememberva.blogspot.com/2011/01/chocolate-on-cookies.html

I freeze decorated cookies all the time--choc, mmf, you name it, and never have a problem. I do package them individually though...

Thank you both for your replies, sorry it took so long to respond. I think I will make a batch and try them out before giving my friend a final answer as I am not able to individually package them but will rather do it sheet by sheet. I will let you know how it works out!
