I'm doing cupcakes for a wedding and would like to do them in varying shades of purple from light to her wedding color of lapis (sp?), which is an extremely dark purple. Any suggestions for achieving this color without the harsh food coloring taste? Help!

BakingIrene helped me with a similar situation to yours with dark purple icing.
