I have searched and searche for the cutter(s) used to make the blossoms on this cake. I found the scroll and leaf cutters, but no luck with the larger flowers.

It's flower cut-outs and finished with royal icing detail.

Has anyone any clue how I can recreate these exact large flower appliques?

I can't tell you the EXACT cutters...but I think I can seer you in he right direction. Those really remind me of a technique of cutting away parts of a lace press. Earlene's Cakes has a wonderful document that shows some examples. http://www.earlenescakes.com/LaceInstructions.html
Look at the bottom of the page for the examples of "elements in lace molds." If not exact, some of those roses are very very close!
