I like to work with royal icing but I love the test of whipped cream.
I never try before but Can I decorate the cake with whipped cream? Like shell border or drop flowers etc?

yes, you can do a shell border with whipped cream. Maybe(?) drop flowers would work..probably need to add a stabilizer...don't try other flowers..won't hold up well or look right. (unless that is the look you are going for)There is a cake shop i know of who does all decorating with whipped cream, but i'm sure it's fake whipped cream. I have done plenty of borders with real whipped cream..

if it is traveling...keep that in mind, not as durable
