Ok, so this is my first theme cake for a 21st birthday. The theme of the party is Disney with the birthday girl going as the queen of hearts. She wants a white mud cake as the base with cake pops!! I was thinking along the lines of square white mud cake with white choc ganache, the loveheart, spade, club and diamond shapes around the sides (fondant) and then maybe a shape of a loveheart made out of cake pops............... how does this sound to everyone??? oh yeah & i have a week & half to get it done!!!

Crazy idea: Why not make the cake pops in shapes - like a heart, spade, etc. That way you can insert them into the cake using the stems. Just thinking.
