icon_sad.gif I recently purchased boxes of Pillsbury cake mix to find out they had cut the quantity of the box by 3 oz. This drasticly affected my recipie and thought others might be interested to know this fact. I'm sure the company is trying to save money, however as a baker even a 1/2 oz. would screw up most of my recipies but 3 oz. is really off. On the flip side the product is still great quality, just not enough of it. Now I'm buying 6 mixes where I used to buy 5 and scooping out the 3 oz. to make up the difference. Just thought others might need this info too.

Yes, *all* the major mix companys have reduced their sizes icon_sad.gif There are many threads on this site discussing how to work with them now - what to do and not do. Do a google search for them - they can be very informative.
