So I'm new to cake decorating and have to make like 200 little flowers to go on a cake. Heres what the cake looks like http://www.maisiefantaisie.co.uk/cascading-blossom-wedding-cake.html

I just dont know what to price this 9 and 6 inch buttercream vanilla cake with fondant blossoms. Please help!!!

I apologize for asking a pricing question, I've just never done a cake with flowers and I need to get back to her today.

so sorry but no one can help you out on this question. Each area of each state has different price points. In NH - cakes made on the coast garner a much higher price than those in the Northern part of the state. Also cake decorators nearest ski areas, large popular venues can ask and get more than decorators in the boonies. You need to call a cake place near you or visit their web site for pricing information and follow suit.

Ahh I love this cake design. Have you tried looking at buying cakeboss software to help you with pricing?

Here's an idea... find blossoms online that are similar to what you're going to make. Charge what you would normally charge for the cake, then add what it would cost you to purchase the flowers plus an upcharge. (Or, don't mess with making the flowers if they're cheaper to purchase and you find what you're looking for!)

Here are mini blossoms from P&H:

...I'm sure you can find more from other suppliers. Good luck.
