This week will be the first time I use the Wilton giant cupcake pan. Can you torte it and put filling in the bottom base layer and the top "icing" layer or will it get distorted and all out of proportion? I need advice ASAP.

Yes.. u can I've torted the bottom and the top many times... it doesn't get distorted unless the cake is really moist.. a good sturdy cake will be fine
