Hi there,

I'm new here - so not sure if I'm posting in the right place - But I misread a recipe & not sure what the outcome will be

I'm making a White Chocolate Mud Cake, and the cake called for 1 quantity of plain flour, and half that quantity of self-raising flour.. and I put in the 1 quantity of plain flour and doubled the self raising flour - so that now there is too much self raising flour in there

the cake was already in the oven when I noticed what I had done wrong!

Anyone know what effect this is going to have on the finished product?

thanks
Mggie

Mudcakes are pretty forgiving , it will probably be fine but may rise a bit more.
