Has anyone sold cupcakes at a fair or outdoor market where there is no air conditioning. If so how do you keep them fresh and the frosting from melting?
I've seen display pans for sale that have an under-tray that holds ice. Or you could rig one. Put a few cupcakes out for display and keep unsold cupcakes in coolers.
This week is supposed to be sunny so I think I will be putting out 1 of each kind to display and keeping the rest in my coolers.
Which coolers do you use for keeping cupcakes? And are your cupcake boxes made of paper or plastic?
