I was asked to make a cake for a lady I have worked with for 24 years who is retiring this week. I want to make a two tiered cake with gumpaste roses and a stencil design. I keep seeing a light green with a white stencil with white, pink, light purple roses and butterflies in my head. I just ordered a flower lace mold and if it gets here in time I was thinking about edging the top of the cakes like the one pictured. Do you think a light green cake with a white stencil and the flower lace done in a silver would look ok? I wanted to make a large silver 24 to add to the cake or should I leave the flower lace white or off of the cake all together? Thank you. http://cakecentral.com/gallery/2314493/seafoam-green-cake-for-mothers-day

I vote yes for the silver too, I love pale green cakes and those colour combos sound beautiful.
