I'm going to attempt my first frozen buttercream transfer soon and I've read that you need more butter in the icing. Does anybody have a great recipe that works great with the transfer?

You can use your buttercream recipe, but use less powdered sugar (I cut mine in half) and no liquid. HTH.

This is the BC recipe I use:

1/2 cup high ratio shortening
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 tablespoon of merengue powder
1 teaspoon Clear Vanilla Extract
4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons whole milk

It works great for BC transfer....
