Hi I'm after a bit of advice around colours, I'm making some gumpaste orchids and I am struggling to get the colour right. I'm trying to create a purple dendrobium orchid, I've managed to *aherm* 'borrow' a real flower from a plant at the garden centre (my defense it fell off in my hand!) and it is such a vibrant purple but try as I might I cannot recreate it.

Has anyone else managed to make this flower? Or is there any colour experts who could help?

I'll try post a couple of pics up if I can get on the laptop

sorry for some reason it posted about 50 versions of the same picture!! I'll try again....

here are some pics of the actual flower (my attempts so far have all come up more of a dull lilac'y' shade)
