Anybody who is planning to make a trip to Toronto Canada should make sure they have an hour to get to Honest Ed's.

There is a local manufacturer of extremely heavyweight aluminum cake pans (Crown) and Honest Ed's sells them for half the retail price. They have 1" deep, 2" deep, 3" deep contoured and sheet pans built like battleships that Fat Daddio cloned--in all sizes. Like from 4" to 16" and four sizes of one-piece angel food pans from 6" to 10".

NO I have no affiliation whatsoever with Honest Ed's except that I have found them to be far more congenial that Wal-mart. NO they don't do mail order. If you come from the US then you can claim a refund of sales tax when you leave.

Thanks for this. I would never have thought of going to Honest Ed's.

You hang a hard right as you come in the main door. There are a couple of tables of those pans...the most amazing thing is the heavy weight. I looked up Crown Cookware and they are local but their retail price is 2X HE's.
