I am trying to make kettle corn for invitations for an event that I am holding at the County Fair (I am sticking the invitation to the bag of Kettle Corn). Normally I would just purchase kettle corn but I am feeling SUPER broke right now and thinking it's just cheaper to make it at home. Does anyone know how to make kettle corn that lasts? All the recipes I see online say "serve immediately." Has anyone done this?

Any help or suggestion would be much appreciated!

Granted, I think popcorn tastes best immediately after popping, but that said, here is a good recipe. I make it frequently and it does last... if I can keep others' fingers out of it! icon_biggrin.gif

Put in popper: 1/3 C Sugar
1 t. Salt
1/4 C. Oil
1/2 C. Popcorn
Pop. That's all.

I make several batches at Christmas to have on hand. It always gets good reviews. I hope this is in time for your event.
