Hi Everyone,

I was wondering how I make this lid out of cake and keep it stable. I did it once with styrofoam but need to make it out of cake. Any tips would be greatly appreciated

The lid would be made as any other cake covered and decorated with fondant. It is a low level, about 2" cake. To stack you would use the same principle as the crocked cake system. Place a dowel thru the top of the baby's head, slightly sticking out. On the back side of the cake stick dowels little lower than your middle dowel. This will give it that angled look.

There are tutorials on crocked cakes here on cc and they are very good.
